Pumpkin Patch

She is lucky #7! Tatum and mommy share the same soccer number! She did great and seemed to really like just running and kicking the ball around.

Soccer

Today was Tatum's first soccer practice, yes, you heard me... she is 2 and "playing" soccer!! It is just precious to watch. We were getting ready to go and she just had to kick the ball in the house. :)

School Days

Tatum's first day of school. She was so excited to "see friends, mommy". She is at such a wonderful and fun age. We are loving every second of it. Also, today, the second day of school... she attended Chaz's birthday party and Spiderman made a special appearance. Tatum continues to talk about "itsy bitsy spider man"... and he even gave all the children a special "spidey" mask. She is doing great things at the Montessori school. She knows her ABC's and the letter sounds. It's just amazing. She is counting to 15 now and really has a grasp on her shapes. She loves coloring , reading, Dora, Care Bears, Princesses, Mickey Mouse, animals (all) and anything with her name on it. Tatum seems to be learning to recognize "her" name. She is growing up so fast!

Saturday night we were invited over to the Sicam's house for swimming and a cook-out, and it was a BLAST! Tatum and Emma are in the same class at school. I knew they were special friends when Tatum (consistantly) came home and was talking about Emma. They were so cute together and had a really great time together. Jason and I were able to visit with our new friends (Julie and Glen), hang out, swim, eat and just have a plain good ol' time. Thanks guys, it was great!

Keep praying for baby Rhys, he is taking "baby steps" and "improving" we need as many prayers as possible!

As for me, I have been setting up my classroom (for now I'm teaching 5th grade Math) ... however, come August 25th, yes, the first day of school... I might be moved to teach 3rd grade self-contained!

Jason is finishing up the project he was lead on... he's loving what he does! He is also finishing up his Thesis. We all will be glad when he is done (even Jason).

Tatum is about to transition out of the "toddler" room to the "big girl" room at school. She is doing great and learning all kinds of neat and amazing things. We love to sit and watch her, she is quite the entertainer!

Pray for baby Rhys Outlaw, Candice and Cody!

I need all the viewers of this blog to please pray for baby Rhys. He was born 16 weeks too early to our friends Candice and Cody on July 16, 2008. Baby Bentley, Rhys' twin, did not make it. He is now in the hands of God in a much better place. Rhys continues to be their "little pirate" and fight for his little life. This family is amazing. They are a family of faith. Jason and I believe in the power of prayer and urge you to pray for baby Rhys.

Candice and Cody have been friends of ours for the past 6 years. They are wonderful, strong, and passionate people. They have great friends and family near by to support them during this trying time. Let's just all keep them in our thoughts and prayers. We love you, Cody and Candice. We are cheering for you baby Rhys, we love you, too!!!!

Yes, Tatum actually says "Aunt Canice Uncle Cody" :)
